About Me

Mr. Thomas Pui is a Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer in Betsol Sdn Bhd, Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand biotechnology, a transformation of waste to protein and food security platform. He is responsible for Betsol’s operations, focused on business strategy and growth, analytics customer experiences and people operations. Prior to Betsol, Thomas was in the financial industry for more than 10 years. He is a Certified Financial Planner from the Asia Pacific Financial Services Association (APFinSA) and Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC). There, he specialized in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Planning & Operation. He was also previously a lecturer for an undergraduate of a degree in Financial Planning at INTI International University, Nilai. He was cooperating with MFPC to provide guidance to the scholars on apply license for the professional certificate and continue to practice financial planning knowledge in the market. There, he gained an understanding of people's needs and superior listening skills. Thomas has a Bachelor of Economics from University Utara Malaysia and a Master of Economics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He finds joy in innovating ideas that identify the needs for the creation of a business. In personality, he loves to promote environmental awareness. That is why Betsol was setting up to solve the country’s food waste problems and to transform organic waste into sustainable insect protein as a future protein sources for the animal.
